Jewelry with Imperial Character
CHAMOVSKIKH Jewelry House together with Alexandre Vassiliev, fashion historian, television presenter, and Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, presented the first joint project: the original collection called "Jewelry of Imperial Persons. Part I. Alexandra Feodorovna".
The project presentation was held at the JUNWEX New Russian Style international jewelry exhibition in Moscow.
A special movie was prepared to immerse the audience into the era that inspired the artists.
The guests also had an opportunity to make memorable pictures in the stylized historical photo studio. Alexandre Vassiliev had a historical and cultural lecture on jewelry of the Nicholas II epoch and on the jewelry etiquette of that period. After the presentation, the guests had a chance to talk to the creators of the jewelry in an informal atmosphere.
The first part of the collection – a parure of yellow gold with malachite and diamond inserts – combines the brilliance and luxury of jewelry of the second half of the XIX century in the modern interpretation. The parure became the beginning of the jewelry series which will include about 20 elements. They will continue the imperial theme reviving cultural and historical heritage of Russia.
